I lean toward the Japanese aesthetic when creating my fiber art. Having lived there as a child, I was imprinted early on with their simplicity of design and sophisticated color palette. My work comes from combining this aesthetic with my knowledge of graphic design, my mother’s lessons in all things fiber and my father’s passion for photography. I try to blend all of this influence into works of art that bring joy to those who see them or have them in their home.
